I know we do not discuss cruise ships here but these vessels are more closer to yachts than anything else. These are the 'yachts' from Seabourn Cruiseline. If you did not know already, in June this year Seabourn recieved its first new ship in quite some years after just sailing with the Seabourn Legend, Pride and Spirit.

The new vessel is called the "Seabourn Odyssey" and is somewhat larger than the older 'yachts' in the fleet. Her sister, "Seabourn Sojurn" is under construction now at T. Marrioti in Italy. A third hull is under construction at the hull building facility. She is scheduled for June, 2010. The third hull/ship is for 2011. You can keep apace here if you are interested:

Got to like the "new" standard in luxury cruising.
Looking at the website, I couldn't find anything pertaining to the height of the ship, as our Harbour access allows a max of 200 feet under the Bridge.
A bit of style similarity with this small ship...

I think I have an answer for you OMW. She is said to be 84-feet tall with a length of 640-feet.

That's a minor boat, I was thinking of the new "Oasis of the Seas" which is 213 feet high and won't fit under the bridge, hence no Vancouver date.

That is not her overall height. That is simply Oasis' waterline to top of the funnel height, overall, she should be 243-feet tall from keel to top of the funnel, Making her overall taller than QM2 who is 234-feet I think (I speak subject to correction on that one). However, if you want to OMW you can continue the cruise ship discussion here in the "Newest Cruise Ships" Thread to keep this thread pure with the more yacht like vessels from Seabourn.

Cannot find the old Cruise ship thread...so I converted this one...

A look at the current newest cruise ship in the world..."Norwegian Luna". Newest for Norwegian Cruise Line and I believe she is the 2nd in the Prima-plus class...and 4th overall. The Prima-plus class is so far around 10% larger than the original Prima Class ("Norwegian Prima" and "Norwegian Viva")

Hull 3 of the Icon Class for Royal Caribbean left the yard to embark on her sea trials. She is called "Legend of the Seas" I believe she will be delivered in July.

"Orient Express Corinthian" was recently delivered and left the Chantiers yard and was seen off Cannes.

Wow, that was a nice introduction to this ship and a tall statement: The largest sailing ship ever built..
No mention of the cruise line but should be easy to find.

Aha, I didn’t know that was also a cruise line, I thought it was the name of the ship, but yeah they go together sometimes.

The cruise component is brand new....if you noticed...alot of the luxury hotels are getting into cruising (they'd like to call it 'yachting')...so you have a new redefined ultra-luxury segment... Ritz Carlton with their Ritz Carlton Yacht Collection ("Evrima", "Ilma", "Luminara"), Four Seasons ("Four Seasons 1"), Orient Express ("Orient Express Corinthian"), The Aman brand is also getting into it with Aman At Sea and their forthcoming vessel the "Amangati" (in 2027).

Yeah, heard of Ritz Carlton Yacht Collection.
Crowded field, must be a huge market for upscale cruising worldwide.
Probably Phillipino crews and US/Euro Officers?
