After nearly 24 years of in-depth discussions by experienced mariners, I've made the difficult decision to shut down YachtForums on Saturday, January 31st at 1:00 AM. To the members who have made YF an amazing resource, we are forever in your debt. Your knowledge and contributions have influenced millions of readers and collectively, you have had a profound impact on the yachting industry. The digital landscape is changing therefore the time has come to shut down YachtForums. It will be down for approximately 4 hours while we upgrade the server. We should be back online before sunrise.
OMG, You started to really scared me till that last line. Long live Yacht Forums and those that serve.
And again one of those moments where you think you should have said how much you enjoy something and would miss it when its no longer there. So: Thanks to the YF Admins and regular contributors! YF is a daily read for me!
Apologies for the down-time last night. Server migrations are a little out of my wheelhouse. The migration went well considering the size of the database. It took awhile for the DNS to resolve. Still need to tweak a few settings. Sometimes I feel like an 086 processor operating in a Pentium environment.
