    does any know the materials used for hull core and tops sides? for the early builds of 65 and 72 thanks

    Also for the bottom? That wasn't common, 30+ years ago.

    so no wood? also do you know how the keel is made? 1 solid piece that could be cut down or not an option

    As far as I know they never used wood. Not sure on the keel.

    The OP must be asking about Donzi speedboats ? The Sportfish line was started by Donzi in the mid 80’s I believe the molds were sold to Roscioli in 1988.

    my bad - when I saw 65 and 72 I thought he was referencing year model. I saw “early builds” then 65 and 72 so read it wrong.

    thanks for the info, yes was referring to the early builds of 65' and 72', didnt know if they always did the hull layup the same, bit no balsa, big plus
