Yes, but in a Nordhavn you can go out the Palm Beach inlet, and get to Newport 5days later even if there is no wind. Many people do it 2 up, although I would prefer 3 0r 4. I did one coastal delivery on a Nordhavn 46 I sold. Coming in the Cape Fear River I had the stabilizers on center. Flat calm day. A big tug passed throwing a significant wake and sent my N46 into a death roll. Stabilizers should add to the stability, not make up for stability deficiency.
