A new project currently under construction by Heesen is Project 'Altea'. The design will look familiar as we have seen the design in vessels like "Home". The exterior design by Omega Architects and interiors by Cristiano Gatto. She will be able to make a 19.5-knot top end with her MTU powerplants (MTU 12V 2000 M72s) . It offers a range of 3,750 nautical miles with 45,000 LT of fuel onboard. Accommodation is for up to twelve in six cabins, in a full-beam owner’s stateroom, one full-beam VIP suite, two double guest suites and two twin guest suites. Delivery is set for 2021.

Project 'Altea' should be completed by the end of May 2021, May 28th. According to Heesen the yacht is more than halfway completed with outfitting works taking place after the hull and superstructure were mated. On the yacht exterior the fairing and other prep for the paint process is being done while on the interior things like the insulation, piping, cabling and and outfitting are the current steps.

As you all know now, Project "ALTEA" has been launched at Heesen.

We (Heesen) are delighted to announce the sale of Project ALTEA, YN 19550, the second yacht to be built on the Nova Plus design and engineering platform. No word on the final name for this yacht.

Her name is "Ela" and you can see her below return from sea trials.

"ELA" has now been delivered. She is to be available for charter this Summer season in the Mediterranean. The yacht was built on speculation as project ALTEA and only was sold in April 2021 to the current owner.
