The second hull in the new Limited Editions 80-meter series from Amels Yachting has been sold. The vessel is already under construction and is anticipated to be delivered a year after the first hull. That makes the delivery timeframe to be in 2026. Hull 8002 has its design by Espen Oeino and an interior by JQB. The yacht will feature hybrid propulsion with the ability to cruise electrically and up to 7-knots which has inherent advantages of very low noise and vibration and also emission less cruising.
Second hull in the Amels 80 series has been technically launched in Romania. She will now make her way to Vlissingen for fit out and completion.
...and it has finally arrived in Vlissingen. The latest Amels 80 has made a successful crossing from Romania to the Netherlands. After departing from our hull-building facility in Galatz, Romania, on August 5, the 80-metre (261-foot) Amels Limited Editions yacht has arrived here in Vlissingen to join her sister vessel, which is already in the outfitting stage. "We are thrilled to commence the outfitting phase for this new Amels 80, which arrived from our Galatz shipyard in Romania," says Jan van Hogerwou, Damen Yachting's Commercial Executive. "This is an exciting step towards delivering another exceptional yacht on schedule for May 2026."
