  1. Project 'Spitfire' To Build In Time For 2027 Completion
Project 'Spitfire' is a new build that is expected to commence construction this year. The 50.6-meter vessel will have its interior designed by Bannenberg & Rowell. The name of the project stems from the famed prop fighter aircraft. The yacht has an overall low-profile design with an emphasis on exterior living especially on the aft decks as there is a lot of deck space devoted to this notion.
  2. Project Spitfire is preparing to commence build in Turkey this Spring and will be completed in 2027. The exterior design is also from Bannenberg & Rowell with Naval Architecture by Lateral Naval Architects. Construction is expected to be done on advanced composite materials which is a departure from the usual aluminium or steel construction you might expect on this scale of build.
  3. Given the design there is no real sun deck in the traditional sense to speak of. This is why the aft decks haven been afforded ample space. From purposeful al-fresco dining to relaxing and lounge spaces, the aft decks provide the general guest compliment to have their slice of the yacht. However, the forward end of the main deck is designed as the owner's domain.
  4. Full beam master suite offers a built-in balcony and private forward outdoor cockpit area with jacuzzi. Vertical screening provides separation from the crew work area in the 'forecastle'. The master suite is the owner's domain and the best view onboard from an accommodation perspective. Almost 270 degree views are afforded thanks to very large side glazing on either side, plus the presence of a physical built-in balcony.
  5. The yacht's relatively slender profile will afford slippery performance with a top speed carded at 22-knots. At that speed the range is anticipated to be around 2,200 nautical miles. However, if extra tanks are used the range can be extended to around 3,500 nautical miles. Other notable features include a beach club on the aft lower deck with glass skylights above to enhance natural light penetration. Side bulwarks on the aft hull also fold down to enlarge the swim platform space. In the swim platform there is a centrally placed transformer which can serve multiple uses - boarding at the dock, submerged swim platform-. The aft deck can be arranged as an outdoor cinema which would be primarily utilized at anchor.
