First time boat buyer here. Thank you all for your attention.

I was hoping to get some feedback from you.

I am contemplating a Riva 66 2019 in a custom white pearl paint job vs a Princess S66.

    Looking for everyones feedback.

Obviously the Riva is a nicer and more prestigious boat, however the Princess seems to have more room, and I feel might be a better boat to entertain friends and family. However that might be deceiving as the Riva is a bigger boat.

    What do you guys think?

Very similar boats. Agree that the Princess appears more spacious and better balanced. I do not think that Riva has the same cachet it used to have in the past. If you really want to spend $2.5m on a boat, I would get advice from other sources than this forum. Since you asked for any opinions:

If you owned a Riva for a while, especially a traditional Riva, you are unlikely to ever consider another boat, even if it is better value for money. You get attached to certain layout specifics and style elements (center helm position, staircase, etc) that just make sense and other boats look cramped in comparison. That being said, I have considered upgrading the Superamerica to the Ribelle a few times and I do not think the Ribelle is the best design in the range. Most new Rivas sit too high from the water which is not the traditional design intent. If the people you will entertain care about the brand, get the Riva. Otherwise, I would get the Princess.

I think Riva had to go that way because of the market, still looking sleek and unique especially in the way the fittings are presented.
Unlike Princess, Riva though puts style over space first.

Worth a note is that Riva is Ferretti Group best selling brand in its portfolio since like 2015. It was not that case before and practically sells itself alone nowadays, it is just a strong brand.
I personally think styling wise (while I am wrong in monetization) the 100 foot models or bigger feel a bit Riva-off to me.
On the opposite the sub 60 foot models are on the other hand very much Riva-styled, especially if you see it on the evolutionary style of things; Aquarama-Bravo-Diable50-Bahamas58/60-Aquarius-Mercurius-Rivale.
