    Apparently, very few to none of these Egyptian dive boats are built to any class standards, and they are very prevalent in the Red Sea and Med resort areas of Egypt.

    Second such dive boat to sink in a couple of years plus one that burned last year. Don’t need a naval architecture degree to see how top heavy these things are.

    yes, build out of wood in the third world.

    Unconfirmed rumor: 3 of the pax on this boat survived 35 hours in an air pocket in the wreck and was rescued today…:eek:
