  1. Fleming New F85 Model Flagship
The Fleming F85 is the latest offering from Fleming Yachts. According to the yard it is perhaps the ultimate cruising yacht. It is not just a longer boat up from their past model offerings, it is a brand new design from the keel up. The Fleming 85 basic specifications include an overall length of 85.2-feet, a beam of 20.6-feet and a draft of 5.5-feet. A full load displacement of around 183,000 lbs all come together to form a compact but spacious package that can get you into any marina or shallow cove and bay.
  2. The yacht is in its essence a classic pilothouse vessel but the yard is giving customers flexibility on the flybridge end of the design where they can choose to have an open flybridge or an enclosed one. It is believed that hull 003 of the model has an enclosed flybridge version. At the time, a new production facility in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, was set up and opened specifically and solely to building the Fleming 85 flagship.
  3. The yard suggests that the F85 can carry approximately 12,000 LT of fuel. At conservative speeds, for example 8.5-knots, the range is 3,500 nautical miles and reduces to a still impressive 2,700 nautical miles at 10-knots. Don't let these displacement speeds fool you, this yacht has a fast cruising speed of 25-knots. You can expect to find twin MAN V12-1550 horse power engines onboard.
  4. Aside from decent range at displacement speeds the yacht also can be a bit more environmentally friendly while extending its autonomy. As standard from the yard the F85 comes with a lithium-ion house battery bank with a capacity of 1,400 amp-hours and 12kW of inverter power. At the time in mid-2024 Fleming 85 hull 001 was cruising the east coast of the US with the new owners and hull 002 was underway in the Mediterranean. Hull 003 was being commissioned at the Burr Yacht Sales facility in Maryland. The 4th hull at the time was in the final testing phase and floating in Fleming’s purpose-built tank at the shipyard.
