I'm about to look at a 2017 Azimut 66 flybridge in Aventura FL.... I would love to here why I shouldn't buy this boat. All the bad things. I'm coming from a 2006 Viking Enclosed bridge. I'm making the switch from fishing to family cruising and comfort. Thanks
Define comfort. I would pick any 66 flybridge m/y rather than a Viking 61 for living aboard, but for wave bashing the latter is better and more solid than the former.
Being used to Viking and willing to make the above switch, the Magellano 66 is probably one of the less disappointing choices for you. But probably, a C18 powered Ferretti 650 would be mine.
Been thinking along the same lines as all of the above. Won't be in 10-12 footers anymore and as far as comfort I'm mean room. My bedroom situation right now is spread out over a master and 3 bunkrooms... the salon and galley are great as well as the EB but the cockpit is obviously set up for fishing. Kids have no problem jumping in the water and getting back in the boat through the fish door but my fat ass is getting old and without a ladder it's painful.
Yes.. I've explored that and there are definitely options. I've been chipping away at things to make it more family and entertainment friendly but the bedroom situation is definitely an issue.
