Has anyone replaced their galley faucet? How did you do it?

The lines from the faucet, rigid copper, connect behind the cabinet shelf back flange. I can see them with a mirror but that's about it. The faucet connects behind the sink and the sink fastens below the counter, so I can't remove the sink to access the faucet. It doesn't look like I can remove the shelf in the cabinet below the sink to get access since it is longer than the door opening.

Would like to know what the remove/install sequence is (if there is one) before I start anything.

Faucet still works and doesn't leak but is getting old looking and wife would like something better. Actually would like a touch activated one like in our house if it is possible.

    Thanks

Doesn't sound like my saga will be of any help to you but. Had to remove built in microwave and then bought a set of crows foot sockets so as not to have to remove the sink. New one went in easier then removal of the old one.

I had no problem removing our microwave and replacing, once I figure hout how it was bolted in place. I've removed the garbage disposal which gives some space under the sink/counter, but not enough for my now older less flexible body.

    Thanks.
