   I am looking at a galley-up 501 Constellation. The layout is generally ideal for my family of five. However, the lack of dining space is concerning. Has anyone come up with a creative solution? One thought I had was to possibly remove the island to open up the space and make room for a small table.

   Forget dining space. There isn't even enough room for seating the number of people that model will sleep! You could make the deckhouse a dining room with a table and 8 chairs. Lounge on the flybridge.
