"Vicky" is available for charter in the Med now. Finally we can see interior photos... http://www.oceanindependence.com/yacht_forcharter.php?id=3114
Did you all see the news that the Baglietto "Antalis" nearly sank in the Bay of Aegiali. It is said that water came though an opened garage door on the stern of the vessel and that automatic pumps did not come on and as a result she listed heavily to port. Eventually with help from locals and so on the 10 tonnes of sea water was pumped out and shifting fuel to opposite tanks helped to return the yacht to it's upright position. Interesting dilemma for the Baglietto and her crew. 9 crew and 9 guests were apparently onboard at the time. No environmental damage was caused.
Looks like the boat launched as the "Baraka" now called "Berkut" has had some modifications to her forward sundeck. The entire area is now closed in with glass, possible a gym or small lounge is up there now?
The yacht you are talking about had two name changes, now her name ist Burkut her formerly names were ex Berkut , ex Baraka(first name) , all really similar. The entire area on Baraka was closed in glass for a while ,as Berkut the glas was removed but now the glass area is bigger after the modifications were done. Also they changed the form of the glass at the ownersuite Hopefullly you could understand what I mean.
Looks like the 2008 Baglietto that is now "Sofia 3" with ex. names as ("Macalulu" and "Le Yana") is now back on the market. Here's the exerpt from Ocean Independence.
Looks as though "Vicky" has been officially sold. Kind of runs with the recent launching of the new Vicky by Proteksan & Turquoise. There must be a connection right?
Baglietto launches a brand new website! Baglietto interesting how you have to side sweep on the website, guess it is more designed with the iPad/tablet experience in mind.
From the Baglietto website an interesting feature about the story of the yard: http://www.*************/cms_dime/public/doc/BD-Shipyard Saga Baglietto-INV02.pdf
"Sofia 3" has been relaunched at Lusben following an exterior refit. She now is a different colour. See before and after...
Baglietto adds to an already striking number of deliveries this year with five more yachts handed over to as many Owners, just at the start of the 2024 summer season. Following the T52 "Ark of Fate" – the winner of the prestigious World Superyacht Award 2024 in the ‘Displacement Motor Yachts 499 GT and below, 45m and above‘ category and currently cruising around Asia -, two DOM 133 motor yachts ("Barbara Anne" and "Astera") and two T52 hulls ("Akula" and "Infinity") have now also been delivered to their Owners.
