  1. Project 'Nacre'; The 62-meter Sarp
Project 'Nacre' is back on track with its construction. This yacht has had a storied life so far and has not even been launched. What started as a 55-meter project back in 2018 as well as a speculation build has now morphed into a 62-meter flagship of the yard. Sarp Yachts is the builder putting together this yacht and suggests it can be delivered in 24 months from the signing of a contract.
  2. If you were paying keen attention back in 2017 you would have seen the design for this vessel in its original stature unveiled during that year's Monaco Yacht Show (MYS). The exterior is by Hot Lab and has a hull form based on the Fast displacement Hull Form (FDHF) by Van Oossanen Naval Architects. The yacht is being built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure.
  3. Six cabins are going to be available to owner and guests numbering 12. The interior volume has been calculated at 1,150 GT and the layout for the cabins are a bit different. The main deck features the full-beam master as usual but there is also a VIP on this deck. It appears if the owner prefers the owners suite and VIP can be connected to make one large apartment block to contain the owner's family as an option. The lower deck is comprised of two full-beam doubles as well as two twins. 13 crew members can be slept onboard as well.
  4. Some features expected to be found onboard include two spa pools/jacuzzis -one perched on the sun deck and the other installed on the foredeck. Numerous al-fresco areas both fore and aft are available on deck. There is a beach club on the lower deck. The sky lounge has side sliding doors to a small balcony. Owners still have time to install either MTU or CAT (3512C) power onboard and either pair will provide impetus for a 17-knot top speed. However, dialed back to 12-knots, the range is 6,500 nautical miles which is more-than-sufficient for Atlantic crossings.
