Whoever buys Pelorus will be getting an amazing designed yacht. Inside and out. Love those interior pictures.
Looks like Mark Berryman really did not change the old essence of "Pelorus" at all. That Disdale interior still shining through.
She doesn't show her age at all. Looks brand new and the exterior design still looks relevant to today. This is definitely a good buy for whoever buys this which I hope is someone that will use it and not let Pelorus become a marina queen...
Also, while I'm thinking about it Pelorus has had quite a few different owners throughout her life. I'm surprised that it is put on the market a lot.
Am I missing something? Is she for sale...again? Asking price 185M euro. Btw, you can download the brochure with deck plans and watch the video...33min video! Interiors at min 12:06, enjoy. I'm making popcorns, https://www.burgessyachts.com/en/buy-a-yacht/yachts-for-sale/pelorus-00000967
One of the best superyachts out there...both interior and exterior design... sleek, stylish exterior...comfortable homey interior...practical luxury.
I first posted in this thread almost 18 years ago, and my opinion of Pelorus has not changed. As long as someone doesn't go and do something stupid with her, she will remain one of the most beautiful yachts of all time.
The only change I can remember that was made to her...and I mean what you could term as a major modification was the addition of the second helipad on the roof of the bridge.
I would add a pool on the upper deck and change the pool+jacuzzi on the sun deck with something similar to the one on Kismet or Phoenix 2. You lose space on the tender's bay, but a pool on the upper deck would be a nice feature. I would replace the office on the top deck with a media room with a big screen, just if you want to enjoy some privacy from your guests. You can still have a desk, but a little smaller. Lastly, I would redesign the wellness area by cutting 2 huge sea terraces to give a more beach club taste. I could also expand the space by losing a guest room.
I love your idea for Pelorus!! I love the way she is now but imagining that would make her 10x better
Pelorus has just finished a refit at a Lurssen facility and has departed the shipyard. In the North Sea heading to its next destination. I’m not sure of any of the work done but I know Pelorus was there for quite some time.
