An American customer has purchased the first hull in the new Viper line from Palumbo Group's brand ISA. The first hull is the Viper 120 and is now sold and thus starts the Viper line for the yard. It is a line because the shipyard is offering the entry-level Viper 100, a 120 and a 140 model. The 37.7-meter Viper 120 was announced just a couple months ago and has already had its first sale with delivery anticipated for 2026.

In terms of accommodation, the yacht will be sleeping a minimum of 10 guests in five cabins that are all situated on the lower deck. Despite the yacht's slender, performance-oriented body, the interiors are still spacious. Given the light and airy palette utilized in the decor along with large side windows on the main deck, the primary areas like the salon receive an abundance of natural lighting. The master suite can be located towards the bow or midships.

The chic but informal-looking salon features the usual formal dining room along with a sofa-relaxing space. Sliding doors open up the space to the side and this is accentuated by the fold-down balconies accentuating the views outward. While this portion of the interior is typically a subjective expression of the owner through a design studio what is on offer in this current set of renderings is no-doubt a comfortable relaxing main deck salon space.

Upstairs, the flybridge is really a true sundeck and is quite generous offering stunning views of the locale the yacht is in. With a substantial hardtop covering 3/4 of the deck and only the aft portion opened, the space is likely to be a highly prized slice of real estate. The aft portion likely will be coverable by removable shade awnings. The sun deck features al-fresco dining, a bar, sofa-style seating as well as day-beds towards the aft. Up front are three 'captain's' chairs manning the secondary helm station. A sliding glass weather door gives access to the main helm area below.

Perhaps one of the stand-out features onboard will be the aft main deck cockpit area. This is a feature that exists on many yachts in recent years. This particular model has three distinct zones on offer with an open and clear view aft. Side bulwarks fold-down to further open the space for use when at anchor. The aft-most end of the tri-use space is the swim platform which hides a versatile transformer. Up one level there is built-in curved bench seating opposed by aft-facing layout pad. The uppermost level of the three is the most formal which is represented by al-fresco dining and a bar.

While the aft end of the yacht is going to prove one of the more popular ends of the yacht, when in a marina setting it is not going to be prudent for guests to enjoy the space in privacy. On the other end of the yacht - on the bow - there is some seclusion in the form of a jacuzzi. Built-in bench seating on either side along with cocktail tables frame the remainder of the experience.

In terms of performance, the refined muscular appearance of this yacht and indeed the remainder of the Viper series is backed-up by substantial installed power on the lower deck. Owners can choose from either MTU or MAN power but either way three engines will be installed. Cruising speed is a respectable 26-knots while the top end is earmarked at 33-knots. The first hull of the Viper 120 is to be delivered in 2026.
