I have a 2005 46 foot Portofino Sunseeker and in the cabin, the table obviously has ability to go up and down. The boat came with a cushion that is exactly the right size to go onto the table if it were in the down position to make the salon into a 3rd bed. The problem is that I can get the table to go down to the height of the existing cushions but no lower. ie: if you place the cushion on top of the table at that point, the cushion is about 4-5 inches higher than the rest of the upholstery. Does that make sense? Any suggestions....am I missing something. I have looked at it so many times without success. Will be at the boat this week and will try to take pictures. I removed the cushion because it just takes up room but can demonstrate the table & mechanism. The cushion is the color of the interior leather, so I know it doesn't go anywhere else and it's not the right shape to be a filler in the back cabin to make the twin beds into a full size.
i also have a 2005 portofino 46. supposedly it sleeps 6 so im guessing the table drops and makes a bed for 2 additional for a total of 6? i found some photos online from online, i see that the pad/mattress provided does not line up with the existing couch cushions. my boat didnt have the table top cushion at all. i think ill just go with an inflatable mattress in the middle of the saloon floor if i need to sleep more than 4 people.
