Have reservation at exuma yatch club but don’t see a path for 5’ 10”draft. Tide will be 2 ft. Picking up crew with luggage and bring lots of spare parts. Any help would be appreciated.

I have been there many times over the years with as much as 6 1/4 draft or 110’ loa. A little tide will help, as there is about 6 1/2’ MLW on approach by regatta point.

One caveat: for the last few months they have been building a breakwater to protect the marina and I assume they put the entrance at the deepest part but haven’t been there since.

if you just need to pick up, you can anchor out and use one of the water taxis. Either Elvis or Jamal. Cheap.

as with everywhere in the Bahamas use explorer charts not Garmin/navionics. Coming in to Elizabeth Harbor make sure you follow the dogleg close to shore not the straight route along stocking which on crapionics looks deeper than it is

Explorer charts are some of the things being delivered lol. Have found shoals where navionic say there is 50’ in Samana bay. I use good light and water color. Have not gone this route before. Thanks for the heads up.

I’d also recommend downloading the Aquamap app which offers Explorer Charts. Great tool on a tablet or phone.
