    I have a lot of respect for the Heesen product and love this particular boat. What is the secret to running at night, cold, raining... trying to enter between the Winyah bay jetties. Visibility looks challenging. Depend on cameras, plotter and radar(s)?

    No secret, just mash your motor and hope nobody is crossing in front of you.
    Works for the blindfolded knife thrower..

    I'm not surprised you would like a boat with gulf livery! Or anything fast with limited visibility!! Franz was all about speed and his work reflected this passion but like most race boats, they sacrificed creature comforts. Many of the Nuvolari & Lenard designed Palmer Johnsons suffered the same fate. Nice to look at but hard to run.

    Found this pic of Urelia's bridge. Not bad if you're in open water, but I'm sure most close quarters operation is performed from the sundeck helm...

    Not sure if we addressed the OP’s question but with the advent of remote control helms such as Dockmate, I suppose the close quarter pucker factor is minimized.

    That looks pretty much like the typical visibility you get from most RPH… when I first got on the 110 Lazzara I run, I was surprised by the lack of visibility. Turned out to be a non issue.

    in this case, passengers on the sun pad could be an issue but if the weather is good enough for tanning, I guess they run from the FB

    We have near normal angled helm windows on our boat.
    The Air-Push wiper motors do a good job at warp speed keeping the glass clear during a heavy down pour of rain.

    I can see the wiper arms breaking off from use at any speed, trying to keep the OP windows clear during heavy weather.
