I have to take a 35ft sport fish from Warwick RI to Hudson Florida. Is there any existing routes available and how long that trip would take? Cruising speed 20 mph. Going to be in June timeframe.

Not that many options. Down LI sound, easy river, down the the boring Jersey shore ( Jersey icw is too shallow.

then either continue down the Maryland shore to Norfolk, or up the Del, thru the canal and down the Chesie (adds about 50nm)

then from Norfolk, ICW to Florida (or a few offshore run weather permitting) to Stuart and take a right in the OWW to the west coast.

figure 2 to 3 weeks depending on weather and how long you re willing to run each day. June is nice since have much longer days than fall

    Have you looked at charts?

If you start early you maybe able to do it in one day especially with a small boat

You can do the OWW in one day with an early start but watch the no wake zones and small boats. Make sure to check beforehand on lock and water level status.

I used to run my 52’ Hatt down from RI to Florida. Typically 2.5 weeks not rushing it. Everything is planned around accessible fuel. Definetly come down thru the sound and run outside until Virginia typically. I would run 6-8 hrs then stop for the day. Once you get into the icw the ride is easier in my opinion.
