Is JD Power useless?

    Wife found a 2007 391 Meridian Sedan. The layout works and it looks like a nice boat. Asking is $247k and JD Power retail is $165k. Either JD Power is pretty useless or this seller is completely disconnected from reality. On these cookie cutter boats JD Power usually seems to be in the ballpark.

    Does anyone have access to the MLS? Could I ask a favor and have you look up sold 2007 Meridians?

    2006-2008 diesel 391 sedan models about 12 boats sold since 2020 across North America mostly in $225K-$260K range.

    Gas models around 10 boats sold in the $165K-$190K range.

    I did see 2 or 3 diesel boats in FL sold in the $185K-$195K range. For whatever reason these FL sales were below the market in general.

    I’m sure you can find a boat or two that’s going to be an exception to these figures but this is a picture of the market in general from soldboats.com

    JD Power numbers I'm seeing are probably gassers. That lines up pretty close to what has sold. Thanks for looking.
