Drain on bridge. Water Drains down a hose inside the wing. The wing hides drain hose. Hose is leaking filling up wing with water. We have pulled on both ends hose. No movement. Can't get hose out to replace. Any suggestion? Is the hose enclosed in fiber glass?

I had the same problem. The hose is glassed in and can't be removed. There are 2 solutions. 1. Remove the fashion panel and replace the hose. This is very expensive. 2. drill a small weep hole on the fore and aft side of the panel to let the water flow out. This solution is the one I used.

Thanks for the reply. I figured it was glassed in. Your fix is exactly what I did this summer. However I only drilled one forward. I will add a hole aft and put a small clam shells over both. Thanks again

Same problem with a 62. So glad I ran across this. Mine was on Stb. side. For what it's worth I do love the boat been cruising the Sea of Cortez for 2 years. My boat is a model year 2000 and it is in the process of being completely replumbed. This time with shut off valves at every branch, so far my only complaint besides the dimmer switches.

Dimmer switch. I bust out laughingly when I read it. This is well lite and switched boat. I need cheat sheet just to turn the lights on. We sold our 42 Grand Banks and bought this last year. Spent 4 months her in Northern BC and the West Coast of Vancouver island. Did not have a single problem with a single system. We also met two owners of 62's and 2 owners of 54's. They have had there boat for sometime and had nothing but praise for the boat. Why are you replumbing??

It is a well lit and switched boat! The plastic Pex type pipe / hose and fittings that they used in 2000 was really crappy stuff. It basically all started failing at the same time, always a plastic fitting usually on the hot water side. Being Taiwanese and 15mm it's not like I could just run to a hardware store or Worst Marine and find these especially in Mexico. Like I mentioned no branch shut off valves only the main ball valve from the tanks. I'm guessing they hopefully have re engineered the complete plumbing system. Really no other problems besides normal wear and tear. Electrical has been great (knock on wood) I've had the normal Vacuflush frustrations but that was the best that was available in 2000. This is a great cruising boat, two full years in Southern Baja with me and the previous owner had her in Mexico for like 5 years . We've seen some fairly nautical moments, wind and seas and she just chugs through like a champ, wet in the nasty stuff but the sea keeping ability of this hull is amazing. Engine room and machinery access is good enough for me, storage and comfort is good enough for my wife! Life at 10 knots in Paradise does not suck. The range and the ability to be off grid for a couple weeks at a time is very cool especially with Starlink now.
