Sea Cat 40 By Rossi Navi To Launch In 2024

In 2021 YF published a feature on a Rossi Navi concept called the Sea Cat 40. At the time it appeared that the design was just in the conceptual phase but with the launching of the AI-run yacht "No Stress" Rossi Navi indirectly referred to this vessel being under construction to be launched in 2024. Federico Rossi, Chief Operating Officer of Rossi Navi said, "Artificial Intelligence allows you to enjoy the electric experience on board to the fullest. This is only the beginning, as this technology will be optimized next year, revealing its fullest expression with the launch of the Sea Cat". The Sea Cat 40 was unveiled to the public during the Miami Art Week in 2021. There will be an estimated 135 square meters of photovoltaic panels installed on the vessel. With the energy stored from the panels the Sea Cat 40 will be able to travel up to 3,850 nautical miles exclusively using solar sourced power when cruising at 8-knots. The designers are confident that the yacht will mostly be producing more energy than it needs to operate.

Speaking of designers, the yacht is designed by Fulvio di Simoni. On the interior Fulvio di Simoni also penned the design. Accommodation for up to ten (10 guests) in five cabins is available inclusive of a large owner suite. With a length of 42.75-meters the beam is more-than-adequate measuring a healthy 13.75-meters (45.3-feet). Bare in mind 43-meter monohulls tend to be approximately 9-meters wide.
