Hi! I have an 1989 Bertram 37 convertible from which the original L shaped sofa was removed by the previous owner. I would like to make one but I only have photos of how it looks. Does anyone have the dimensions? Length, width, height and seat height? Thanks
From photos and measurement of your existing space, you should be able to figure it out. Bear in mind that boat furniture in general is 3/4 scale of typical residential upholstered goods. If you look at commercially available boat and RV furniture like Flexsteel, you will notice that the seat depth is shorter. It's a challenge to build something from scratch that is both comfortable and aesthetically pleasing.
