I'll start with photos of the yachts which arrive here in Sint Maarten, Netherlands Antilles for the winter season. Here is Excellence III an Abeking & Rasmussen which arrived on Wednesday afternoon and is departing Thursday morning.
Can't wait Well only five weeks and I'll sitting at the bridge enjoying Happy Hour watching the comings and goings of all those big beauties!!!
PSDO I unfortunately have another 4 months or so till I get back down there Save a few drinks at the bridge bar (I forget the name) for me!!
I like the shape and lines of this beauty. My favourite paint color .The fore porholes are simillar to the one we building now , its got simillar radius on them. Very nice picture Neil ,thanks. Francois
What happened to the St. Maarten Yacht Club? That was the only way I could find the bridge opening! It hurts when they move your way points.

Be on D Island In March March. Heineken Regatta!!!! Heineken Regatta SXM 275 boats in the regatta plus a couple hundred cruisers. Not to forget the 100 plus Megayachts and the aircraft. BBJ's, 767, 757, GV, GIV, GIII, GII, Global Express, Challanger, Citation, Falcon 900, 50, 20 and on and on. If you don't like March then try New Years Eve here or St Barths.
Neil, you mentioned New Years Eve in St Maarten... We all read about St Barths being a trendy place to be, but I havnt heard about St Maarten before. Where on St Maarten is the best place to be??
There are several fireworks shows La Samana, Marigot and Orient Beach on the French side with Maho and Philipsburg on the Dutch Side. Pick a spot on the Dutch side, easier traffic.
From what I read La Samanna is a nice hotel... are there fun bars in the same area to visit, or is it purely the hotel which is the attraction?
Neil, Just cheked out your website. You have D life on D Island! I like those shots of you with StarShip's Heli. I will have to stop in and say hi the next time we are down that way. I know C4ENG said he was going to be there over Christmas.
