I did a boat in 2017 with two 16V4000's. We knew it was going to run a lot so it was a no brainer to go for the extended warranty which more than paid for itself when the alternator drive on one collapsed and ripped the timing gears up. I am just about finished another one now and we are taking the same deal again. Its not the servicing its for breakdown repairs. All of us onboard have done the Engine Course so can work on them without compromising the warranty.
Pascal, now that you have just over two years on the full rebuild and little over three on the other rebuild. How are the engines doing and how are the oil tests for both engines. How May hours do you have on them now since the rebuild. I read this while you were doing the rebuild and read it all over again and watched the videos. Just amazing.
