100 ton travel lift on the Chesapeake?

    Georgetown YB has/had a 100 ton but they went into receivership and closed a year or so ago.
    Cape Charles was re-inventing itself as a big boat service center, partnership with Front Street. I called them and they have a 75 ton lift
    Ocean Marine in Portsmouth's phone is disconnected, web site down and facebook page says permanently closed.
    So who is picking up the slack?

    Yacht Maintenance Company in Cambridge, MD has a 200 ton railway and does a nice job from what I've heard. Never hauled there though. Maybe worth a call? (443) 205-4502

    Good thought, thanks. I have tried them over the years, but they book commercial haul outs for maintenance which ties up the railway for weeks. Worth a call.

    Nope, they have a 100 ton and 50. Call Craig in service department. He is the man.
