    Posting for a friend...

    Looking for suggestions on an electrical engineer or independent mechanic to upgrade an existing 500 Ah AGM system to a 1000 Ah lithium based battery system along with peripheral equipment for a 50' sailboat located on Palm Beach Shores.

    Not Palm Beach Shores but close. I have had direct experience with Trinity Marine in Stuart. I was very pleased with his work and competence. He re did the bonding system through out my boat. I don’t know if he would travel but feel that he would as it is not uncommon for Palm Beach area subs to serve Stuart.     I can't comment on engineer, but if you need the batteries. I'm a Dakota dealer and will give you a great discount on them.

    I can recommend FireFly Engineering in Ft. Lauderdale.

    They do travel to PB pretty regularly.

    Lean Marine Electrical is very good too, also out of Lauderdale.
