As an option to confirm fuel level in the Cabo 40's, I noticed on one that I looked at a year or so ago that the owner had labeled the 550 gallon fuel tank as 18 gallons per inch. He had a dip stick to track fuel consumption. Has anyone out there done something similar with these Cabo's? It seems like a simple solution especially since fuel gauges on boats can frequently give erroneous readings.
