Business was bad after the virus & Shipping license canceled by owners 1000 meters deep.....no one hurt
I ate there decades ago. Huge and crowded but the food wasn't very good. An experience of sorts. Here in Toronto years ago a guy bought an Adriatic coastal cruise ship and opened it as Captain John's. Like Jumbo, the food wasn't very good. One evening it was rammed by a Toronto Island ferry and promptly sank so the diners found themselves in tabletop high water with their dinners floating away. All drenched in dirty harbor water but nobody hurt. Undaunted, the owner scrapped it and bought a larger Adriatic cruise ship, spiffier but with the same crummy food. He went broke and abandoned it to rust in the harbor for years until the city towed it away for breaking. Floating restaurants are usually more a gimmick than a place to eat.
