I have a 42 Riviera I just bought. It has a Quick Lift Hydraulic Davit that is radio controlled. The remote controller has deteriorated, I would expect from weather or Sunscreen. The remote works but you can't read the functions. Lucky it came with a Laminated cheat sheet. Does anyone know how to find parts? Or a remote that is compatible? The company looks like they went out of business. I sent a email and left a message with no response. Mark
I just sent you a message with one of the owners number. They don’t make new Davits anymore but still support them and make chocks. I just got a set of chocks from them.
Just to let everyone know. I have called Quick lift and left messages. I did get a response form the owner. He said to call the office. There is a message machine that I left a message on but no response as of yet.
Update.... Quick lift called me and I have ordered the parts I needed. Thank you Pascal for all your help.
You re welcome. They re always helpful. A shame they had to stop building Davits. Their Davits were real good. they re still building custom chocks. Excellent quality
I applaud the fact they are still providing parts. Most of the time when a company stops, they completely disappear.
I am in need of assistance. Our quick lift has an issue and having trouble finding service. It appears you know how to reach the correct person. 'Thank you, Ryan Cole
Thanks Pescal. I was able to get parts I needed and have the information at my office but not with me. I’ll be back mid week but heading to Cabo to pick another boat up.
Quicklift has been out for a few years now so I don’t know how long they ll have parts. Their sister company Chockmaster is in business though.
Sorry for the late response. IF you press and hold the two bottom buttons on the remote it should sink to the controller on the pump. It should first flash red a couple of times and then when you let off the light turns green.
No problem, thank you for the reply. I ended up sourcing the information to repair both remotes as they done how reset and lost programming. I have now got a direct contact incase it happens again to the manufacturer of the controllers and module.
Hi Pascal, I wonder if you know what fluid Quicklift 1000 uses and where on the tank would be the full mark? There is a rubber plug on the unit and we are up to the bottom of that plug. Thanks for your help,, Steve
Trying to remember… that was almost 10 years ago…. I think we used regular hydraulic fluid like what goes in swim platform, stabs etc. I don’t recall a rubber plug…. I think it was a screw in plug with built in vent
