There is something on these videos from intl to US standards. I was not aware that Canada was a part of this. It is often a EU post is made and the ved thread says "not available". We will eventually find it and all is good.

On YouTube search (again U S), I can not find this video.
Not a problem to me. I was with the first diving crews in Miami & Liquor-dale that started to set this up in the early days. Yep, I sucked on a hose in a previous life. Another stupid human trick that I'm paying for now.

The argument then was tank vs hose for us pioneers.
Half of us were on the ships hose.
I never tangled up my hose and would nap waiting for another boat to come in. Even 6 to 10 feet, I felt safer never coming up. Safe-Air just started selling this 5-6 cf rescue bottle. Mine was on my hip and never used. I never knew of a tank diver having an issue, dive computers rarely turned on then at 10 feet water but somehow, I always felt safe and good staying down, knowing what was coming next. If an issue, someone would just pull on our hose.
Rehearsals for each boat was studied and rehearsed well long before the boat came in. Amazing, I would still get a tan or near sunburn in 2 to 10 feet of water.

For those who follow the Superyacht captain channel on YT you will be familiar with Tristan Mortlock as the captain of a yacht called "AWOL". That yacht has been a 1 season vessel, being operated in the Med region and Summer seasons and then get's hauled out and stored for the winter. AWOL has now been sold and an American purchased it which meant they had to transport it from Genoa to Fort Lauderdale. They used "Yacht Express" and here is a look around the bridge of YE.
