She recently had her mast stepped so I will start this thread off with a clip of that process. Her carbon composite rib was built by Rondal.
"Ngoni" seems to be actually delivered already. I have seen photos of her arriving in Gibraltar for the first time on Sunday May 21st! She is an amazing looking yacht.
Thanks god, I gave up sail racing. Ngoni is a biest and the fastest boat Royal Huisman has ever build. She is moored only a few jetties apart from my sailboat in Palma. I will make some pictures, when back in Mallorca.
I know, Beast was her project name, as her Owner asked Huisman, build me a beast. But I ment it literally, thats why I used the German word Biest. Here performance figures are almost brutal. Great boat. One does not have to like her design but her performance is out of question. She will really cause a stir in the big boat sail racing scene. Btw. The Alice Huisman and her family have sold all family shares to the investor already holding 50 % of Royal Huisman and Alice and all family related management have left the business. We will see some changes in policies and activities of Royal Huisman in the future. I am not sure jet, wheather its for good or bad of their products but I hope the best, as I am a big fan of this company. But as I said before, a lot of changes in progress in the Dutch yachting industry.
Interior shots are availible and GAs are availible in a popular yachting magazine and another website. https://www.****************/dreams_fulfilled/ngoni/
"Ngoni" is for sale now. I believe this may be the first time she is being offered for sale since being delivered to her owner.
