  1. 'Project 7' Commences Build At Rybovich & Sons Boatworks
Not long ago -a month or two ago- Rybovich & Sons Boatworks launched the 94-foot enclosed bridge called "Three Amigos". Around the same time the yard was in the process of starting construction on another sportfish, this time a slightly smaller project. That project is known as Project 7 or hull 7 and is a 82-foot sportfisher. At the time planking for the hull would have started.
  2. Back then Rybovich said, "we've started glassing and fairing the interior of the hull as the hullbillies finish planking the exterior. Interior bulkheads are getting their final fitting and we'll be moving towards a rollover in no time." Naval Architecture and design has been done in-house by the yard. Power will be provided by a pair of MTU 16V 2000 M96L at 2,600 horse power each. Fuel capacity is going to be just over 13,000 LT (13,248 LT) or 3,500 gallons. The 82-foot boat will displace around 120,000 lbs. 21.6-feet is the beam and a shallow draft of 5.4-feet permits near shore anchoring. The plans suggest a layout that has four cabins. A midships full-beam master suite, two twins are further forward and a bow VIP with a 45 degree set bed follows. YF will keep an eye on this project as it progresses.
