For genealogy sake, the takeovers went like this: Covington > Western Branch > J&T Consolidation of territories, J&T is the right organization for the marine scene in those areas, they have a great grasp of the pleasurecraft business.
Now that the whole family is involved, Lets keep up with lots (LOTS) of pictures and notes. We like to watch.
If the condition of turbines is questionable replace them. Had our turbo's blueprinted while doing other work. The port turbo failed after 2 months and 110 hrs. When we checked the stb turbo end play it did not meet spec, replaced both turbines. Check with the rebuilder about sending the complete assembly for them to inspect and warrant the complete unit. Ours was not warranted because mechanic only had the housing's blueprinted and did not replace the turbines with 3000+ hrs , another lesson learned.
IMO, when you play you got to pay...our boats are play time and a bonus to our lives. You just have to spend $ at times and not look back. Just get new ones if you deem them to be bad from J & T . Why mess around ? Not always best to "save money" on such an important part of the boat.
