  1. Hatteras M98 Panacera
The Panacera model from American yard Hatteras has been around for a little while now but it is still new at the same time. The first model to kick off this range was the M90 Panacera a couple years ago. The M98 Panacera is actually the result of an owner wanting the M90 but on a larger footprint, hence the extra couple of feet. The design is by Ward Setzer and directly below we can see a render of the M98 Panacera.
  2. Construction is expected to start shortly during the winter months. While the M98 Panacera might look just like the M90 Panacera on the surface there are a few changes that are noticeable to those paying attention. The bulwark up front are notched-out to provide a better view out. There are also more windows in the hull. The yacht is available in an enclosed bridge or open bridge and even a semi-enclosed bridge if an owner should want that. There are different layouts for the guests as well. Ordinarily the guests cabins will all be nestled on the lower deck. The owner can have the VIP forward on the main deck too and the owner would naturally have a full-beam suite midships below in that configuration. Hatteras is definitely giving you flexibility here. For comparison below is a render of the 90 Panacera.
  3. CAT power is expected to be a popular choice. The standard CAT marine diesels are rated at 1,600 horsepower each. There is room for options on the engine packages as well. On the CAT branded end there are 1,800 and 1,900 horsepower options. MTU is available with 1,920 and 2,600 horse power options. MTU 16V 2600 appear to be on this first hull. Ward Setzer said, "At the same time, they wanted the new boat to be equipped with larger MTU 16V 2600 diesels that would maximize its cruising speed but maintain the legendary ride quality that Hatteras Yachts are known for." The first hull should be ready by the first half of 2021.
