    Can anyone recommend a certified Volvo Penta technician who does pre-purchase engine surveys in and around Miami/Lauderdale?

    Jef Burke, Marine International Diesel Inc in Lauderdale. I've used him for a Volvo IPS survey and he's highly regarded in the area.

    Sun Power Diesel, they're the dealer. If it's under warranty and you have the dealer do the seatrial survey, they can get the repair approved under warranty.
