   Fifteen people were said to have been rescued from a 33-meter yacht called "D'angleterre" that was on fire in Mallorca. The yacht appeared to be offshore at anchor when the blaze happened. Another yacht to add to the growing list of yacht casualties by fire.

   I wish there were follow up reports on these fires with probable cause so we can all learn something. At anchor eliminates the mains... so generator? Rare. Galley, clothe dryer, electrical?

   This one is a wood hull and wood superstructure by Bilgin in 2008. Just back from a major refit apparently. Wonder if there is a connection.
