Bering Yachts recently launched the Bering 80 "Beyond Capricorn". Does the name sounds familiar? Maybe not, but "Veda" does. Veda was the name of this yacht when it launched about two years ago. Yes, this yacht just relaunched from a solid two-month refit program with a new name, color change and all. She goes from the dark grey/blue hull and accents at her original launch to more subtle and neutral colors as can be seen in the photos.

Bering says she had a lot of other work done to her that will not be immediately recognizable from the exterior. A passerelle was installed, water treatment facility was redone and changes were made to the upper deck areas to match the style of the new owner. The new owner is actually from Australia and renamed her Beyond Capricorn.

With the new owner the yacht is expected to be extensively utilized. With the refit work done, she has a new lease on life. Full tanks, this vessel can travel 4,000 nautical miles. Remember this yacht is under 100-feet long so that is impressive. With ample interior space spread across three decks and a decent 25-foot beam, the new owner should enjoy this yacht to the fullest.
