Serene is off of that site. Does anybody have any links (or copies) of those great interior pics? I would think that they are still out in the public somewhere.

My folks winter down in Cabo San Lucas. She sent me a text today letting me know that "Serene" is moored right off The Office in Cabo. I guess it's now Mexico's Newport Beach.

Seems like "Serene" was sold to an arab owner and as for confirmation she arrived in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia recently.

Wow, since when she was sold?

I do not know as it was not announced offically but I guess it was sometime this year. I also read she was sold for 350 Million euros but I guess this is rather speculative.

The 4/2016 edition of the yachting magazine "boote EXCLUSIV" has big feature stories about Serene, Yersin and Madame Kate with very nice internal and external pictures.

Layouts for Serene/same photos as already available for her?

No, new pictures about a journey to Alaska. That yacht has really some crazy features like a jacuzzi on a side wing on the owner deck and this drive in salt water pool / beach club at the stern. On such a big boat, there is really some volume to spoil for a designer. But no layout of Serene.

As some of you know Serene was purchased and taken to the Netherlands for a refit. A recent photo shows that the aft pool area with the lounge beds have been removed and turned into a helicopter pad. In my honest opinion it should of stayed a pool area.. Looks different.

I haven't seen photos yet but I believe that spot was already convertible to a helipad.

Oh really I had no idea. I always thought it was a stationary pool area. Well if that is true I've never seen that like it before. If you want to see photos you can go to Instagram and look up dutchyachting or you can do it through google "dutchyachting instagram" and you'll see some photos.

So looking at that photo, that doesn't appear to be what was originally designed. I think they could just have some sort of cover for the pool that would turn it into another touch and go helipad. I can see the arguement to an extent. It's probably safer landing there than on the bow or they might want a bigger helicopter.

I was browsing that instagram page but I couldn't find the photo, probably it was deleted by the owner of the page.

Nonetheless, taking into account who bought Serene, makes sense a space for a larger helicopter and/or fewer open spaces.

It's an older photo. It is on their Facebook page still.

Yea I never knew that it could be converted into a helipad.. I saw the photo and that was one of the first things I noticed and it just looked really different to me. Like what nmna said it does make sense to have fewer open spaces for the person who brought Serene.
