  1. 38-meter Motor Yacht "Soprano" Launches At Hakvoort
The latest yacht from Dutch yard Hakvoort was recently launched. On April 7th the 38-meter "Soprano" slipped into the water at the yard's Monnickendam facilities. The yacht is finished in a cream 'moondust' coloured hull just as renderings from a few years ago suggested. The design is by Diana Yacht Design and has many traditional and classic cues that can be seen in other similarly designed yachts like "Pamela V" and "Heliad II" for example.
  2. She is a classic cruiser and will not win any races with speed. However, she makes up for that with healthy endurance. Soprano is expected to be able to travel 5,000 nautical miles at a continuous speed of 11-knots but her top speed is 13-knots thanks to dual CAT C18s. Four cabins are available for guests and are split between an owners suite, a VIP and two doubles one which has the flexibility of becoming a twin if needed. She was launched without her mast but you can have been perspective how the sundeck 'funnel-mast' appendage will be incorporated based on the below rendering.
