Hi I am in Northern California in the delta and there isn't a whole lot of sportfishers up here or in the bay, actually there really isn't many Post sport fishers on the west coast,I am considering taking it to Southern California to list it ,seems like a better market, can anybody suggest a good broker for sportfishers in the San Francisco Bay Area or Southern California ? Regards Matt
good luck with the sale. The Post 46 is a great boat. Just curious, Do you know how your boat got to Calif from New Jersey?
I am not sure, the guys I bought it from owned it 15 years and fished the west coast and Mexico , I believe it was brought on its own bottom from the east coast, I'll ask them next time I see them , this Post is great and super customized and actually has a custom built lower helm which would make a east coast to west coast trip a little more do able lol
Matt, One of our mods removed your last several posts with oversize pics. They were HUGE! Please resize pics to under 800 pixels before uploading to YF. The reason we do this is to reduce the bandwidth consumed when someone opens this thread. Keep in mind, some people have data plans and many of our captains are on satnav. Thanks!
If anybody wants some pictures email me at phone number removed; read the rules their is some really nice custom modifications on my boat Regards Matt
RT46 PM me and I'll send you some pics of the helm, maybe you can post them ,I am not very computer literate Matt
I think I down sized the helm pic thanks Rt46, if you have the same layout in your post, adding a couple windows in the master stateroom/galley wall makes huge difference , lets a lot into the stateroom and makes both the galley and stateroom much less cluster phobic
I had to build a box to hide the control cables, the A/C box is on the right, ideally electronic controls would be the way to go
The aft deck and water left side ,right bait and more water tank it's all stainless including aft deck, the kill boxes are aluminum
Replace both fuel tanks, water tanks and holding tanks, all the plumbing is controlled thru these valves including fuel transfer and fish boxes
Hi Tommy It's a 1980, it's been completely gone thru ,from the painted bilges, sand blasted painted engines, new genset, to all new interior and electronics etc,$200k spent in the last 36months
