    Gentlemen, I am searching for a reputable superyacht surveyor and legal advisor for a new build. The legal advisor is required for the negotiation of the purchase contract and the surveyor will supervise the build process. The yacht is an Italian build, over 50m and of steel/aluminum construction. The hull and superstructure are already built.

    TK. Have you considered a build engineer, rather than a surveyor?
    K1W1 may be able to steer you toward someone. If not, I know a guy named Jim Kuiak, who's finishing a new build at the moment.

    I do agree on KIWI also. A specialized law firm for the contractual paperwork and a good build engineer / owner rep will do. If you have a future skipper already in mind, he can join in as the build captain. That will make a perfect team.
