Just saw some aerial photos of her and I must she is really interesting. She has got a quite huge pool on her aft maindeck.
Just saw those photos too, that is a very large pool, possibly one of the largest yet installed on a yacht? It also seems to be glass backed in the style of Alfa Nero or Topaz. There is also a small pool/jacuzzi aft on the bridge deck.
I'm impressed. Even the giant satdomes look nice. IMO, probably the best-looking "royal yacht" at the moment.
I really liked her either way but man she looks nice with those ariel shots. From the air she looks really really nice.
The arrow-head appearance of the forward decks from above is impressive, that's something I have not seen recently if at all. The sat domes look a tad too big though.
As I said before, I had to see her in profile but now in an aerial view is even better. IMHO this is a fascinating design. Finally something new. The language of form is homogenous and impressive. One can discuss details and colour schemes and this useless bow emblem but overall I must say, Espen Oeino has struck again. The design of the dry exhaust stacks is one of the best, I have seen for some longer time now. Espen Oeino is for good reason my favorite large motoryacht yacht designer. Lets hope, this yacht will not disappear to the Arabian Peninsula like many others before.
My best guess is that the owner will be like Topaz's owner where she will visit more areas than just Dubai. Has anyone seen any side profile shots or high res shots? The only ones I've seen are from the same source as the aerial ones.
There are now profile shots of her on the yachtphoto.com. As a expected that enclosed topdeck makes her look a bit top heavy. IMO a conventional sundeck would have made a really stunning design but she is still a nice Middle Eastern owned superyacht. I like her though.
Yea she's somewhat top heavy. Another 15-20m or losing the top deck would have done her well but I still really like her
She doesn't look too bad in the photos at all now we can see the mast in place and looking more like a completed yacht. Interesting is the smoke coming from the hull exhaust. So what are the the pipes on the funnel for then?
LW like to use DPF's in the dry main engine exhausts till the ME's reach a certain output level, they then switch to the over the side ones where the lumps of coal, rust and fumes will not be such a discomfort to those onboard or alongside. Most of the pipes exiting the top of the mast will no doubt be for Gensets and will have DPF treated exhaust gas exiting through them.
That's a really good video of that yacht. I still really like her I just wish she wasn't Middle Easy bound to not be seen again
Yea she has been getting worked on for quite sometime. Wonder when it will be handed over to owners??
