Many of us have dived with sharks, mostly not realizing it! In fact the some of the most dangerous sharks in Australia will be aware of you from quite a distance and will only show themselves out of curiosity. I have dived with Bronze Whaler and Bull (Zambezi) sharks, as well as the harmless Leopard sharks, but if I knew a Tiger or Great White was around, then the dive would be over or not started. The greatest danger is at the surface, or around bait schools.
