Is the transfer breaker off, when using 2 shorepower cords? The transfer breaker should be only on when using 1 shorecord or the generator. I can't remember if there are 2 polarity lights or not.
Electrical specialist is come from Kemah, Texas on Tuesday...he says on the phone..."we will fix it" so I will let you all know .he thinks something simple......Thanks...
On my Cabo when plugged into shore power you have a green light and 3 small lights showing green if correct polarity. The 3 lights always remains on until shore power is unplugged. When you start generator their is just a single green light showing it is running. When you say the ac light is on or off are you referring to the ac breaker light? Sorry slightly confused.
Had a guy yesterday, fixed a few ground wires on my bonding system...replace both inlets for my shore power (slightly overheated) check voltage drop from shore power to boat...1.9 volts....droped a meter overhboard and took readings...said no stray current...said all is well...we shall see...
It could be a bad connection at one of the shorepower inlets, given the age and if they've shown signs of overheating, it's most likely the culprit.
