I just want to say... ! Is it really a fishing vessel or someones idea of a sportfishing yacht?! Sig Hansen's after hours toy maybe? Thanks for sharing guys. Cheers.
I was on an old UT705 built in the 70's that would rival many yachts from that era. The wheelhouse floor was teak and holly, the officers cabins had large day rooms with bug leather armchairs and a sofa. It had been refitted a few times and was showing signs of its age and operational history but it had always been on the Norwegian register and well maintained.
Poor fish don't stand a chance, with today's technology the bridge just steers the boat right over top of the fish and they get scooped up.
Tried to go back and verify the builder, but can't remember if I got the pics of an online newspaper or some face book page. At any rate, looks like a Turkish yard takes credit for the vessel, but when I harvested the pics it said yard on the West coast of Norway was the builder. Not sure if it was partially built one place, then towed to another yard to be completed. Whatever. Found these pics instead:
