I got an email from the proprietor of Nedyacht this morning who said they are working on their website very hard. I hope it is ok to post a link to it when it is ready?
I'm sorry but doesn't it Nedyacht B.V. Opgenomen , Geregistreerde bedrijfsnummer 010468380000. Kredietrapport, Jaarverslagen van de kamer van koophandel en bedrijfs monitor gratis beschikbaar also mean that Nedyacht LTD is "registered"? Company Details Nedyacht Ltd (Registered Number 010 468 380 000) Type Private company with regular structure Status Active
Yes, 'Nedyacht BV'. Not 'Ned Yacht BV' as was mentioned on the Vripack site. I did look up Ned Yacht, not Nedyacht. Seems like the Nedyacht you found is the company you're looking for.
Not sure if still of interest to anyone - but this NED 70 discussed here is for sale now on yachtworld ...
IMHO she is quite a nice looking yacht that reminds me somewhat of Skat! MARIA ESTHER Ship Photos - AIS Marine Traffic Her home port is listed as Roggebotsluis which is just West of Kampen in the Netherlands.
Something is definitely amiss. Do not see the likeness. https://www.google.com/search?q=mot...XEsASi1IHQBQ&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAQ&biw=1272&bih=654
Having come back to this thread after many months, and looking at the photos in this link again, can someone answer a few questions regarding the first pic on the page? Or did I miss something? Is it the best first impression for a potential buyer? Why is it beached? How much damage would this cause? how fast were they going to get it that far up on the beach? It does look pretty nice though. Sorry disko, I don't see the Skat either.
Perhaps a good example for this Thread. http://www.yachtforums.com/forums/general-yachting-discussion/17021-beach-tide.html Also, an opportunity to show below the waterline, without the expense of putting her on the hard - the tide is somewhat free.
In Northern Europe it is quite normal to have a yacht designed to dry out in tidal waters. Just this week we've had 30ft spring tides twice a day, it's natural here.
I think that if you shrunk the 230' Skat down to the size of Maria Ester you might get something that looks similar considering the slightly industrial military color and look of each, the angular shape of the windows and wind screen on the flybridge, the angular overhangs, the color of the window glass, their elongated shapes, the singular vertical radar masts, and their other coolness factors. At the very least I think we have to great looking yachts!
