Would any YF members in the region of Australia, New Zealand, or any other spot in south east Asia be able to render me a small service?

I need to check the exact details, but I'm trying to acquire something from Malaysia (totally legit, I assure you) and they only ship to Oz, NZ, and SE Asia. If anyone could help me out and be a proxy for the shipping I'd really appreciate it.

PM me if you can and I'll see what's what and if we can work it out.

    Cheers

    Hi there,

There are parcel forwarding service providers that will give you an address in China to your name, then they forward the package (Certain Restrictions and Rules Apply) to where ever you want. Will check for URL's and PM them to you.

    Cheers.

P.S.: If you are certain it is a one time deal, then YF members in those areas are the better option in terms of expenses.

Assuming this is something of substantial value for you to be doing this, then I would strongly suggest a forwarding service provider, primarily from the point of insurance. There are just so many things that can go wrong and using an individual, regardless how responsible, it would appear to me that both you and this person are very exposed. I realize both shipments can be insured but there is still that time and exposure between the two.

While I do agree with you... I do trust many of the YF members in those areas (and all around the world) more than any insurance or courier. Hell am ready to go with them to sea blind folded! So I'd trust them with anything in a cardboard box or a paper wraper!

    That is just me! ;)

    Cheers.

I wasn't at all mistrusting any individual or YF member. There are things that can happen in spite of the most trustworthy member.

Now as to insurance, I may just be more conservative in that regard than you.
